@arian_ghashghai You might be forgetting privacy laptop screens, netflix binging, and normie gaming. The blocker really is mostly just comfort there (id say 37PPD is close to enough, tho goal is 50).
@DiscussingFilm The key here is understanding primary and secondary consumer needs. Sora doesn't solve any primary needs, it merely makes people with that need do it easier, and it is almost unheard-of for secondary needs to generate more primary needs. You could bet on it 99.99% of the time.
@DiscussingFilm I wish i posted my views on Sora publicly, but since the weeks it launched this was what I said within my circle: consumers will never become creators in large quantity, sora is an experiment of educating consumers that will once again be destined to fail.
Human physical intelligence is built on the foundation of us touching and squeezing and knocking on ourselves while feeling ourselves touch ourselves, then imagining how an item would feel from what we felt.
The key here is to teach more of how we got things wrong, instead of having students memorize huge amounts of what we got right in a way that makes it appear like we got them right the first time: which is seldom the case. People need to be less confident with limited info.
https://t.co/urF5LGJDmE Interesting vid on 6 times scientists wrongly discovering new elements.
IMO the most important change needed in schools is to start teaching more of humanity being confidently bamboozled (in this case, 2x by a simple iron element taking 70+ yrs to correct)
Life is about unlocking game content; building a deeper understanding of the lore and game mechanics of the game of life itself. And the best way to achieve that is by unlocking new game content for the people you can reach, and for them to in turn do that for you.
@marvinnn_m @ishotasegod @MKBHD What r u talking about, nio's designs are fine and definitely original for a modern brand. Ofc cars still have to look like cars and new brands will have bits that look like the thousands of existing designs. Also im not defending xiaomi they are shameless about it.
I believe this is a more fundamental pursuit than happiness. It is also in my opinion the only first principle that can sustain a peaceful & rapidly developing civilisation. I hope that one day we'll all realize that our existence is to help all humans unlock more game content.
i loved my time at openai. it was transformative for me personally, and hopefully the world a little bit. most of all i loved working with such talented people.
