Stop wasting time. Omni Group is looking to put up a 480-foot-tall tower next to the Metra tracks between Halsted and Green. Have them put a Fulton Market station in it. Or we'll be waiting for decades and billions of dollars later before Metra gets around to it on their own.

This is the long-threatened Waterman Building at 129 South State St by Holabird and Roche in 1919.

Plans to renovate it into a boutique hotel in 2019, but Covid happened.
