@AndyKHLiu Kd (second option but still) complained, podz, Schroeder, Poole to an extent at the end there. Even dray had his halftime outburst over this topic. Kerr doesn’t want anyone isoing or shooting too freely and it messes with people’s heads
@AndyKHLiu At some point do we just say that Kerr's system is not conducive to 3rd scorers? Every potential third scorer has struggled in the system. It's a built-in tradeoff. MPJ either gets benched or second guess himself and turns into something else entirely in Kerr's system
@ecommerceshares Isn't this just channel mix shift? Same people ordering Chipotle, but more are now ordering through doordash vs. picking up on their own
@EconBerger@balanceaboveall I don't think that's the assertion exactly. It's very hard to really know how much something is being weighed. But if the numbers weren't released at all over last month or two, would they have really thought the economy was still as strong?
@EconBerger@balanceaboveall But isn’t the issue more that as a percentage of the total change (which is what we seem focused on), it’s a much larger revision? We seem to be making decisions (ie fed) as if it is more precise than it actually is during times of change
@automaticnba@EnviroEngine I sort of see the point in using rts% but think it's overstating something. Curry has an outsized impact on improving his teammates' TS% when he's on the court with his off ball movement and spacing, so he'd be hurting his relative TS% here. The goal should be to improve the team
@Simitachi@JoeVirayNBA I think whether he starts there is less important. More important is whether the guy is strong and long enough to defend 4s and higher, fast enough to defend guards and wings
@fnf2017@JoeVirayNBA I think this is sort of semantics. Definitely agree there is more to this than physical aspects, just addressing some of his height concerns. There is a place for people with his build. But obviously need a lot more than just that
BREAKING: The Dallas Mavericks are trading Luka Doncic, Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris to the Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony Davis, Max Christie and a 2029 first-round pick, sources tell @ShamsCharania. Three-team deal that includes Utah.
@timkawakami Tim, there'll be guys screaming on all platforms, no matter what you say. Most of your followers want to hear your own thoughts. Ignore the few loud ppl in the responses
Quick thread on Density Zones, our new proposal for how the federal government can help address zoning problems. Why do I think this type of solution makes sense? I will explain…
@mikesimonsen I think the real value is in having a captive audience who have higher incomes and are hungry and have nothing to do for the next 30+ minutes. Makes most sense for the owner of grocery stores and shopping centers to be building them
