Dear Christians,
Leave Nigerian YouTube rom-coms where the dominant message is two people falling into sexual relationships through morally casual means.
Denounce shows like Love Island, where sexual immorality, sensuality, and nudity are glamorized and packaged as entertainment for you.
Christians, bikini-wearing single strangers gather in a luxury villa and couple up in order to stay on the show.
And that is it. Strangers suddenly become couples. Sex and nudity become the dominant features of the program.
The show is rated TV-MA (Mature Audiences) in the United States.
Its content includes:
Contestants spending most of the day in bikinis, swimsuits, and revealing clothing.
Frequent discussions about sex, sexual attraction, and romantic relationships.
Kissing challenges where contestants kiss multiple people.
Couples sharing beds together and scenes showing couples becoming intimate under the covers in bedrooms.
This is what you are consuming as a Christian. Please, stop it.
The Bible says that we should leave all impure acts behind:
"Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God." (2 Corinthians 7:1)
Why gratify the desires of the flesh? Why fill and feed the lusts of your flesh?
These shows, the BBL-augmented actresses acting out fantasy romance scenarios in Nigerian YouTube movies;
the alcohol-fueled and nudity-filled BBNaija Friday night parties;
and the soft pornography of Love Island are categorically works of the flesh:
"The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery...drunkenness, orgies, and the like.
I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God." (Galatians 5:19–21)
So why are you holding on to the things the Lord has called unholy?
Did the Lord not command His saints to come out of Babylon and touch nothing unclean?
"Therefore, 'Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.'
And, 'I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.'" (2 Corinthians 6:17–18)
Brethren, we are saying that these things are worldly wisdom, and they are corrupting you.
They are weights upon your soul, and they give birth to sinful desires within you.
It is sinful desire that leads to sin, and sin, when it is fully grown, brings forth death:
"But each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death." (James 1:14–15, NIV)
So what should you do?
Desist from them.
Delete them.
The purpose of entertainment in the Christian life should be that which primarily edifies your spirit.
Music is meant to make the Word of Christ dwell richly within us.
Our speech is meant to be seasoned with salt so that it edifies the hearer.
And what ought to fill your heart—your inner person—is the Word of God, so that you may walk in holiness:
"I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." (Psalm 119:11, NIV)
Brethren, please be holy. Consecrate yourselves.
You are God's treasure, God's workmanship, born of the Spirit, and God Himself dwells within you.
Live accordingly.
God bless you.
Bro, that man stole 210 trillion.
Not million. Not billion. Trillion😭
Not 1 trillion. Not 10 trillion. Not even 100 trillion.
210 trillion!
There is hardly any sector of Nigeria’s economy you could invest that kind of money in and not see massive, transformative change. Education, healthcare, power, infrastructure, agriculture, every single sector would feel the impact like mad.
Yet person papa embezzled that amount only am.
The craziest part is that no individual could ever reasonably spend that kind of money in a lifetime. It’s wealth beyond comprehension, while millions of us average Nigerians struggle daily to afford basic necessities.
God will punish all of you.
Every single one of you.
In old Roman cultures, it was law that if you were a young widow whose husband just died, you had to be married within two years. There’s no reason for women to live except you were married to a man, it was required, whether you wanted to or not, Caesar said.
But the Christian community supported widows so they didn’t have to get married if they didn’t want to.
Women flocked to Christianity. The reason was simple: they saw a dignity to their lives, a new humanity, that it utterly began to change the social order.
Guys!! It’s cold very outside! I just stepped outside my house to feel it. And if it’s this cold in Lagos, it’s colder in Ibadan and much even colder in the bushes! These children and their teachers are shivering right now! This is their 27th night! God!😭😭

A drunk policeman shot me at a checkpoint in 2011.
The bullet tore through my car, through my right hand.
I lost my career as an animator. My marriage cracked. My mind still bleeds.
The twist?
I sued the Nigeria Police. Won in 2015.
Judge said: "Pay his medical bills."
10 years later. Zero naira.
I face permanent disability without help.
