@FabrizioRomano France was the most rated team in this tournament so far but that was terrible performance. Team was disorganized and lacking any form of coordination.
On July 8, Muslims rose in violence against the Christians of Tal al-Qiblaya, a village in Minya, Egypt.
The Muslim mob surrounded a Coptic church during service, chanted Islamic supremacist and anti-Christian slogans, hured stones at Christians, turned off the church's electricity, and burned the priest's parked car.
In a word, they terrorized the Christians.
The authorities, as usual, did nothing.
Such Muslim mob uprisings against Egypt's Christians have happened countless times.
For an idea of how savage these tend to be, watch the brief video at the end of this post. It's of another Muslim uprising against the Christians of yet another village in Minya.
A Coptic woman, barricaded in her home, managed to videotape the rioting Muslims from her barred window as they completely thrashed, set fire to, and hammered parts of her family’s property.
You can hear the woman say (in Arabic), “Do you see—oh, world! do you see, what they’re doing, and how they behave?”
Soon after that, you can hear her say “Save us! Please save us…. O, save us!”
She also cries out, “O Lord, Lord, Lord—please have mercy [kyri eleison].”
At one point, addressing the Muslim vandals outside her barred window, she says, “Please, please have mercy! We’re going to die, we’re going to die!”
No mercy was offered, just more rage and, as can be heard, a constant chorus of Allahu Akbar!
“Look how they destroyed our whole house—the fence, doors, windows!” she says at one point. When she sees someone tearing and running away with a piece of her property, she cries “Thieves … thieves! Where’s the government? What government?!”
As just happened last week in Tal al-Qiblaya, the mobs were given amble time to vent their rage before the authorities and firefighters responded.
At the end of the recording, it seems that the mobs finally break into her home and assault her and/or other family members—at which point she starts screaming and crying hysterically.
The video abruptly ends soon thereafter.
Such are the routine experiences of Christians in Muslim-ruled Egypt.
Such is how Islam behaves at home, where it is in power and in no need of dissembling.

@Sean_ADFIntl@MiriamMLex David Raymond was shot in that very attack, which wiped out his entire family.
Unfortunately, he died of bullet wounds yesterday, after 18 days of fighting to hold on to life 💔
@adewale6567 There is a difference between being injured and having medical complications. Currently Ederson is not injured but is prone to injuries cause he is not medical fit
@Banso_Gbenga If it was done well no one will talk down on them and if they have a track record of doing well no one will talk about a rare mistake. They are deserving of the criticism

TERROR ALERT – July 1, 2026
Equipping The Persecuted has received credible information indicating that the Islamist Fulani Ethnic Militia may be preparing coordinated attacks against Christian communities in Benue and Plateau States.
Communities believed to be at greatest risk include Agatu, Guma, Otukpo, and Ohimini LGAs in Benue State, as well as vulnerable communities in Jos South and Barkin Ladi LGAs in Plateau State.
According to credible information received from multiple ground sources, militant fighters have reportedly been mobilized from several northern states, and preparations for a large-scale offensive may already be underway.
We urge Christian communities, local leaders, village security teams, churches, and the Nigerian security services to remain on the highest level of alert and take immediate precautions to protect vulnerable civilians.
Equipping The Persecuted has repeatedly issued advance warnings that have preceded deadly attacks. We pray these warnings are acted upon before more innocent lives are lost.

Thank you for sharing my remarks from the @CoptSolidarity conference in DC, @magdi_khalil🙏
My talk focused on the global scourge of blasphemy laws & cases like Augustinos Samaan's & Said Abdelrazek's in Egypt, Yahaya Sharif-Aminu's in Nigeria, & Ishtiaq Saleem's in Pakistan.👇
Isis is not the group responsible for killing Christians in Nigeria.
The Fulani Ethnic Militia is responsible for 80% of Christians killed in Nigeria!!!
Currently there are 3 main Islamic terrorist organizations operating in Nigeria.
Fulani Ethnic Militia
Boko Haram
ISIS
Currently the Fulani have control of the Nigerian government. This is why the Nigerian government is "cooperating" with the US government to go after ISIS.
They hate each other. We are helping a terroist organization eliminate their enemy all while Christians are being killed by the Fulani Ethnic Militia.
The US government is currently doing nothing to protect Christians against persecution. (Other than designating Nigeria a CPC) That is a fact. No real action is being taken to go after the real perpetrators of the persecution.
We all agree that Isis should be eliminated but we can't do that while ignoring the terrorists that are killing Christians.
President Trump is being misinformed by bad actors within his circle as to whats really going on in Nigeria. I believe he wants to do the right thing, but his Gatekeepers do not.
If anybody can help get this message to president Trump, I would be more than happy to debrief him on what's really happening in Nigeria. I assure you that our own government is not giving him the right information.
