Amazing to see the #UHP’s rapid response team being featured in this month’s #OTnews. I remember having my first placement with this team and wanting to work with them to prevent hospital admissions at a lightning fast speed. Kudos to the team!
Great news that the #MentalHealthAct is in the King’s Speech but the silence on the welfare system is devastating. Any improvement in the nation’s mental health is dependent on a change in welfare policy- from dehumanisation to dignity, from panoptical surveillance to respect.
Care and OT show 2024 completed ✅ lovely afternoon seeing familiar faces, making new connections, sharing the love for #occupationaltherapy (and collecting freebies). Hopefully we inspired some people through the work that we do daily @DPT_NHS

Wall mural finally completed! Our attempt of bringing some brightness and joy to our infamously long corridor. All that’s left is another coat of chalk board paint and then it’s good to go for scribbling! @DPT_NHS
