@rubenwardy Yeah, so I've heard (and sorta experienced as I've attempted a few times to learn them). ATM I plan on exposing some regex functions to any of my own projects utilizing embedded Lua to compensate for this.

Regex is officially like the best thing ever. With one line that took around 30 seconds to write, I can do what might've taken me 2 or more hours to implement looping through the characters of a string. Wish I'd taken the time to learn it sooner #programming

Switched to Visual Studio Code yesterday from Atom, and I'm sorry to say, I'm not going back for the most part. Some things are nicer in Atom, but that autocompletion and its intelligent suggestions along with inline error highlighting are just too good #programmer #coding

Recently got back to working on my game, and I'm finally progressing again. Nearly completed a class that implements the SemVer specifications to help with reading package configurations and have unit testing running, besides a proper window class and more #gamedev #programming

So the power was out almost all day today. It's crazy to think about how much we actually depend upon electricity itself, in that it powers the electronic devices that we consider necessities. Especially when you don't have a working laptop, but rather just a desktop 😄

@elonmusk IMO the idea of simply voting on the credibility is but a partial solution. It leaves a lot of room for voter bias. If voters had to provide a source to back up their opinion on the validity of the entity, that could be better. Then there's the validity of the source, but still.
