This ongoing delay raises serious concerns and appears to be a deliberate attempt to keep them imprisoned without any substantiated evidence. We firmly demand that they be brought to trial without further delay and that they be granted a fair and just legal process.
Following the trial in January, NSENGIMANA Theoneste and his co-defendants have been waiting for six months for the prosecution to act on the court’s findings. Although trial dates have been scheduled twice, neither hearing has taken place.
