@JewishWarrior13 Your points are valid but I would add that Vance has a strong tendency towards an anti Israel spin which doesn't quite reflect Trump's position.
@memeticsisyphus A big part of this is the death (murder?) of male only spaces. Where both sexes mix, there is sexual tension/competition. It stops being a place anyone can go to to fully relax.
@feelsdesperate As a jew, I care a lot about the tattoo. Before October 7th it would have been entirely disqualifying and I think it's a seriously bad sign for our country and where we are headed.
@MaxAbrahms I think a lot of the reason many on the left are so seemingly desperate to support him is that they hoped he would be a counter argument against the obvious result of their policy to alienate and crush white men. They hoped to say "see we have platner, a man's man".
@memeticsisyphus This is why the downwardly mobile get so radical in big cities too. If you live in a suburb, most of your neighbors will make income in your range. In NYC, the guy who lives at the top of your building could be making your total net worth every month. Proximity drives jealousy.
@memeticsisyphus Very few things are more radicalizing than being 18 and realizing your dreams aren't economically viable while your freshman roommate with generational wealth treats college like a 4 year vacation.
There are psychological advantages to geo locking to your socioeconomic class.
@neoavatara Trump is horrible at hiring people. Sure he selects for obedience over competence, but even that doesn't explain why he's so bad at it.
Musk is very good at hiring people. That was my real hope with DOGE. Just put Elon in charge of staffing.
