This morning in Doha, President Kagame met with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani @TamimBinHamad to convey his condolences on the passing of his beloved father, His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and to express his solidarity with the people of Qatar during this time of mourning.
The bond between Rwandans and President #Kagame is built on results, trust, and shared aspirations.
From a nation devastated by the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi to one of Africa's fastest-transforming countries, millions of Rwandans have witnessed tangible improvements in security, healthcare, education, infrastructure, and economic opportunities.
For many Rwandans, support for Kagame is not about slogans it is about lived experience. They remember where the country was and where it is today.

Merci. » 🇷🇼🕯️

Had a good conversation with Rwanda’s FM @onduhungirehe.
I expressed solidarity with Rwanda, on behalf of the Government and people of Israel, during the week marking 32 years since the genocide against the Tutsi.
We discussed the situation in our region and in theirs.
I emphasized that the Iranian terror regime must not obtain nuclear weapons. The removal of enriched material from Iran and the cessation of enrichment there are important goals, and we would welcome if they will be achieved through diplomatic means.
I invited my friend to soon visit Israel.
We’ll continue strengthening our friendship with Rwanda. 🇮🇱🇷🇼

It is also a reminder of our shared duty to learn from history, reject hate, and protect the values that hold our communities together.
