The Hon’ble Vice Chairperson of the National Commission for Safai Karamcharis, Smt. Anjna Panwar visited the Field Headquarters of Oil India Limited in Duliajan and presided over a significant meeting attended by senior officials of OIL, Safai Karamcharis, and their respective contractors.
During the meeting, Smt. Panwar underscored the Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi’s steadfast commitment to the welfare of Safai Karamcharis and his deep appreciation for their invaluable contributions to society and the nation.
She highlighted the pivotal role played by Safai Karamcharis in advancing the objectives of the Swachh Bharat Mission and lauded their relentless efforts in maintaining sanitation.
Smt. Panwar also commended the comprehensive benefits provided under the Swachh Sewa Samman Scheme, launched under the Hon’ble PM’s leadership, which recognizes the dedication and hard work of Safai Karamcharis. She further emphasized the Hon’ble PM's heartfelt acknowledgement of their extraordinary sacrifices, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, where they risked their lives to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
Key issues concerning the well-being and rights of Safai Karamcharis were discussed during the meeting, including timely wage payments, monthly pay slips and deductions, provision of uniforms and identity cards, annual health check-ups, CSR and other welfare initiatives. Various government schemes aimed at benefitting Safai Karamcharis were also reviewed. Smt. Panwar actively interacted with the Safai Karamcharis, addressing their concerns and assuring them of necessary measures to enhance their quality of life. She reiterated the government's commitment to their safety, well-being, and professional growth.
Additionally, the Smt. Panwar attended the exhibition held on the 66th Foundation Day of OIL, showcasing various CSR initiatives and also learning about the operations of OIL. She lauded OIL’s efforts on CSR and appreciated the various projects undertaken.

@airindiain I had booked tickets on a flight via air india from Dibrugah to Dubai. Now the flights have changed and the same does not make any sense. My flight lands at 16.35 but my connecting flight to Dubai leaves at 14.50 the same day. Doesn't make any sense.

@airindiain We want to support Indian businesses like airindia and pay directly via app but you will also have to meet the customer half way. The airindia app really tested my patience but all is well that ends well. @RNTata2000 @airindiain

@airindiain @RNTata2000 Nothing has changed post your aquisition of airindia. I spent entire morning trying to book tickets for my family of 6 to Dubai. I wanted to use the airindia app but payment won't go through. I think I will have to user other sites for the booking.

@makemytrip @makemytripcare i cancelled my tickets on 18th April and I am yet to receive the refund. The expected timeline of 24 July is completely unacceptable. Why would it take so long for a refund. I have spoken to multiple people. My refund application no is 098-3904183625
