Chef Drops Everything to Save Lonely Elderly Customer
For 10 years, 78-year-old Charlie ate at the same restaurant daily, always ordering gumbo — light on rice, no cracker.
Chef D’Nell knew his routine perfectly. When Charlie suddenly vanished, D’Nell left work, went to his apartment, and found him on the floor — fallen, broken ribs, dehydrated for days.
