It is so odd when someone is envious of you, doesn’t like you, and thinks they’re better than you all at once. And yet, they still try and talk to you, or be in your space, in your DMs, in your comments, wanting your attention, advice and approval — all while being in a one sided competition and throwing subliminals trying to navigate their own insecurity through projecting it at you in hopes to feel better about themselves. The second I notice that energy, I block them.
White women in Nazi germany did.
White women during the enslavement of Africans did.
White women in colonial times did.
Let’s not do this revisionist history or deify women as a whole as being this moral standard. Intersectionality tells a more accurate story.
let’s not forget about the fact that he drilled a hole into his 14 year old victims skull and poured acid into it bc he was trying to create a human zombie. bitch this is real life, not a fictional character. he was a rapist, murderer and pedophile. IN REAL LIFE.

R&B is not a monolith though. My 9 literally proves that. From disco/funk and neo-soul to alternative and experimental R&B, plus house and other dance influences, there’s a LOT of sonic variation here. The Velvet Rope, Off the Wall, Butterfly, Love Deluxe, Urban Hang Suite, B’Day, Ctrl, When I Get Home, and Renaissance are NOT giving me the same sonic experience.
Never forget what white folks did to his body. He was beheaded, dissected, and skinned. They cut off body parts to keep and made a purse of his skin. His skull was passed down thru generations for 180yrs before it was returned to his descendants.
Never let them call us animals.
a lot of ppl had to learn who they were through you and they resent you for bringing certain things to light that they were comfortable repressing, you were the change they needed and that's the role you played for the time being, you served your purpose and now you're receiving your divine inheritance and they can't take it, stay the course anyway.
Part of growing up is realizing you're not above anything. Homelessness, job loss, heartbreak, illness, failure, even death can happen to anyone. Life can humble you overnight. Stay grateful, stay grounded, and never look down on someone struggling.
