@forestvanslyke Depends. If I listened to vlogs that day I may hear their voices say things. Or I’ll hear phrases said from films so it’s the actor/actress voice. And hear different accents. It’s usually more other people less of mine I’d say
@yccxoo@GrumpCurmudgeon@WhatTheADHD This is it I totally get some ppl will prefer the cheaper alternatives totally get that when I was paying private it was sometimes £130 a month but on my repeat prescription now I’m not going to accept a generic brand I’ll kick off 😂
@WhatTheADHD To my original microgynon after 8 months being on the alternative rigevidon & my skin went back to normal. I like my Elvanse & wouldn’t trust an alternative when you can have different side effects. Anything from quality ingredients to how they are stored & processed can…
@elliemidds Like I can see why some people snub private companies because it is a business but my assessment was so thorough (2 & a half hours long) & for once I felt so validated & understood. I sobbed at the end 😣
@elliemidds Yup the psychiatrists on the NHS said it was all down to environment & suggested a mood stabiliser. But ofc No improvement when my environment changed🤦🏼♀️. Years later my mum needed to see a neurologist & she thought I had adhd & suggested to go private. Got diagnosed adhd combined
@JellyCraven I think whatever I say about myself is on me & how I identify myself. If someone prefers saying they are autistic/or have autism I honour it. But if they get offended because I’ve referred to myself ‘with autism’ then that’s on them to be offended.
@JellyCraven I try & say I have adhd & I’m autistic but tbh there are times saying ‘my autism’ or ‘ I have autism’ just rolls off the tongue better because I’m used to that with saying ‘I have adhd’ not ‘I’m adhd’ 🤷♀️ i will always refer to someone else as ‘autistic’ though
@adamfare1996 UCL tested antidepressants not adhd meds. Which made me think even more that’s why adhd meds work because some of those people taking antidepressants need DOPAMINE & not serotonin.
@cchruk It was antidepressants actually. Which made me think even more that’s why adhd meds work because some of those people taking antidepressants need DOPAMINE & not serotonin.
@WhatTheADHD Close relative today said ‘meds wouldn’t have worked for you if you didn’t have adhd’ 🤦🏼♀️ I know several adhd peeps that don’t get along with adhd meds. I corrected her 💁🏼♀️
Lazy does not exist. It just doesn’t. We are either exhausted AF from trying to survive, or from masking, or from learning to give ourselves the love we were ought to’ve been given unconditionally, or from just crawling to the next step.
