The 20th African Investigative Journalism Conference (#AIJC2024) is officially underway at Wits University from today, October 30, until November 1. This three-day event, held at the Wits Science Stadium, brings together hundreds of journalists, media professionals, academics, and publishers from across the continent.
Keynote speaker Dr. Naledi Pandor, Chair of the Nelson Mandela Foundation, will deliver insights on the importance of investigative journalism in Africa.
Celebrating two decades, #AIJC2024 emphasizes investigative reporting, offering a platform for journalists to connect with leading experts, learn the latest tools and techniques, and sharpen their skills for impactful storytelling and accountability.
