-جانبا التصميم : تظهر كائنات مجنحة (اللاماسو)، وهي مخلوقات أسطورية آشورية كانت توضع عند مداخل المدن والقصور للحماية، وترمز إلى القوة والهيبة والحراسة الدائمة ، وبالقرب منها شخصيات بشرية مجنحة تعكس العلاقة بين الإنسان والعالم الإلهي.

-مركز النقشة : تبرز بوابة كبيرة تمثل بوابة عشتار، داخل هذه البوابة يظهر نمط نجمي كثيف، يعكس معرفة البابليين بعلم الفلك والنظام الكوني.

-الهلالات الصغيرة : ترمز لدورات الزمن والقمر (الإله سين).
