@CBetress@hellolanemoore Counterman v Colorado. It’s already EXTREMELY hard to get a restraining order as is. But now they eliminate a lot of the stalking patterns that aren’t “overtly violent” event though these patterns lead to violence and cause psychological harm and distress.
@sexandtheswiss @LizzieKrontiris @ask_aubry There’s a difference between sharing your opinion and trying to control them. You can say your partner doesn’t need makeup and they’re beautiful without it, but once you’ve said that, the conversation is over and it doesn’t affect her personal decision.
@Lindas_Here@kaydaustin@KathyHoldshope That’s nice of the coworkers but it’s absolute garbage that it comes to that. Other people shouldn’t have to sacrifice their time they save up to spend with family or go to their own medical appointments or take mental health breaks. The US is broken and I hate it.
@SurgeCityDreams @rgay Something that’s interesting to me tho is a lot of millennials and zoomers who have kids… I don’t think their kids will be able to support them monetarily. Those of us who don’t have kids, if we are able to save/invest the money we would have had to use on kids, we MIGHT be ok
@Deatheragon1 @Mikthomson @ask_aubry You realize kids share bathrooms? exception of some kinder/special needs classrooms, most elem grades share. 2-5th grade girls all shared same bathrm at my elem. Also, I knew abt sex by 3rd gr bc my friend saw news w/ parents n learned abt some rape report. Tampons/pads are fine.
@Deatheragon1@ask_aubry I’m not sure where you live but in the US elementary school is typically kindergarten through 5th grade (sometimes 6th). A had a handful of friends who got their periods in 4th/5th grade. So we are talking somewhere between ages 9-11, and early periods have increased since then.
@Quietloudgemini@Its_Kkryss@MarketingBully_ Thanks for posting this. The rule requiring “at least 4” unrelated adults is very relevant. Saying this is effectively banning roommates is a bit hyperbolic. Most folks don’t have more than one or two roommates.
@SaraSchon @mattgbrunson I DO agree w/ the not understanding getting engaged quickly but that’s rly not yr biz in the long run. I focused on myself, went to therapy, and cont’d therapy when I tried dating again. Married this year after 6 yrs of dating (COVID delayed the party!). Invest in yourself.
@SaraSchon I mean, I know polyam married ppl. I also know a lot of ppl went thru a lot of feelings in lockdown and that wasn’t weird to want to not be exclusive once out of lockdown. A lot can change in 2 years. (Also why are you still following him on IG if this bothers you so much?)
@ask_aubry When I see young ppl say shit like “I was going to spend the rest of my life with him” abt absolutely awful dishonest selfish humans I just want to scoop them up n put them in a little “perspective box” that shows all these great things they can do if they leave these shitbags.
@NY_Nuria @ebonysolovely @Delta ESAs don’t even have legal protections! Only service dogs do. ESAs are not service dogs. They only legal protections ESAs have are for HOUSING.
@bajan_xx @akilahgreen Lots of people with the fortune to have a house have deep freezers in the garage. Have you never seen a crime show? (Jokes, sorta lol.) I hope one day I can have a house so I can store endless large batch soups and sauces in a garage freezer!
@craftysan34@CandiedSquid @DorraineEarnest @ask_aubry Dated a 33 yr old when I was 21. He wasn’t a bad person but we were In COMPLETELY diff stages of life and even tho I considered myself mature for 21 I wasn’t “relationship mature” at all. In hindsight I’m glad he realized he needed to work on himself and we split.
@DonRaunIV @Jo2timess Or just don’t overbuy groceries. Frozen meals aren’t any more unhealthy than fast food (which is the only food “out” that can be cheaper than groceries). Pantry items last. I get this point for giant clamshells of greens, but otherwise just admit it’s a convenience thing not cost
