An Inspector who joined the department in 1994 is still serving as Superintendent after just ONE promotion, despite an unblemished career.
Meanwhile, a direct-recruit Assistant Commissioner who joined in the same year has progressed to Commissioner or Chief Commissioner after 5–6 promotions.
Even a Lower Division Clerk who joined in 1994 has reached the rank of Superintendent after 5–6 promotions.
Is this fair? Is this the career progression our officers deserve after more than three decades of dedicated service?
We demand justice, equity and a fair promotional structure for every member of our cadre.

CADRE RESTRUCTURING: LONG OVERDUE!
Pending for over a decade, despite the need for review every five years.

🚨 AISL DELAY – THE ROADBLOCK TO PROMOTION!
All India Seniority Lists for Superintendents have been pending from 2014 onwards. Their non-finalisation is holding up the DPC for promotion to Assistant Commissioner.
The result: stalled career progression, officers awaiting promotion and many Superintendents retiring with just one promotion.
AIASCT demands immediate finalisation of AISL and conduct of DPC without further delay!

Are these passengers actually travelling, or are tickets being blocked and later cancelled? Please investigate the booking system and possible misuse of automation. Genuine passengers deserve a fair chance to book confirmed tickets.
Dear @IRCTCofficial@RailMinIndia,
How is it possible for all normal quota tickets to get booked within a minute of opening? My ticket on the Kanchan Kanya Express (26 Dec) is already waitlisted despite booking at the very first opportunity.

1. Meeting with the DG and Pr. ADG, DGHRD
(i) AISL and Consequential DPC:
DGHRD officials informed that the Zonal Seniority Lists from Delhi and Vadodara Zones are still awaited. They assured that the DPC process would be initiated immediately upon receipt of the pending lists. The All India Body strongly emphasised the urgency of the matter and conveyed that continued delay in finalising the AISL and conducting the consequential DPC would leave the Association with no option but to launch an agitational programme.
(ii) Cadre Restructuring:
DGHRD informed that the Cadre Restructuring exercise is progressing expeditiously. AIASCT’s earlier submissions and detailed proposal have been placed before the competent authorities, and the Working Group’s recommendations have also been taken into account. Train 07221 is running more than 5 hours late. What a waste of passengers’ time and Railway resources! Passengers plan their journeys based on the published timetable, yet such gross delays leave them with no certainty or accountability.
