#XBOX
Hello. I am a Japanese Xbox user living in Japan.
To all developers and publishers who continue to release games on Xbox, thank you for your ongoing support.
Xbox is currently facing the greatest challenge in its history, and as a fan, I am truly grateful that you still choose to bring your games to the platform.
I do, however, have one request.
If you plan to release your game on Xbox, please consider supporting Xbox Play Anywhere and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
The number of players who can only access titles on Xbox consoles will not grow significantly in the future.
This is due to rising hardware costs driven by component prices, as well as uncertainty surrounding Xbox’s broader strategy.
I would be very grateful if you could consider releasing your titles in a way that allows them to be played on Windows PCs or through the cloud.
I understand this may place additional burden on your development resources, but releasing a game exclusively for Xbox consoles now may also present higher risks for creators.
Expanding the number of channels through which players can discover and enjoy your work seems, to me, the most effective path forward.
Huge congratulations to @StrangeScaffold and @frostypopgames on the launch of Truck-kun is Supporting Me from Another World?! 🚚
We're proud to have brought the game to @XBOX Series and can't wait for players to experience this chaotic adventure.
Congrats to the whole team!
@HERESJOHNNY61@SerenityForge@ZhenghuaYang@stephentotilo The hope is that, once PlayStation stops doing physical releases in 2028 (and if Xbox still allows third-parties to print disc-based games), we will get more third-party physical releases on Xbox. But we'll see
