⚾️ Lipoff is a Phillie! ⚾️

The Philadelphia Phillies picked up their third New Jersey prospect of the weekend by selecting Gloucester Catholic catcher Braeden Lipoff in the 19th round of the 2026 MLB Draft.

Lipoff batted .459 with 13 XBH and 40 RBI to help the Rams win a fourth-consecutive Non-Public B state championship this past spring. He finished his high school career with a .413 batting average, 140 hits, and 116 RBI.

⚾️ McCarron is a Marlin! ⚾️

The Miami Marlins have selected Ocean City graduate Duke McCarron in the 17th round of the 2026 MLB Draft.

McCarron helped Ocean City win a Group 3 state championship in 2021 and had a career 1.45 ERA in high school. He becomes the third South Jersey product to be drafted out of St. Joseph's University today.

⚾️ Another NJ alum is heading to Philly! ⚾️

The Philadelphia Phillies have selected Cedar Creek grad Christian Coppola in the 12th round (369th overall) in the 2026 MLB Draft.

Coppola posted a career 2.55 ERA with 141 K's over 82.1 innings on the mound for the Pirates in high school. He was stellar this past spring at St. Joseph's University, where he had a 1.69 ERA with 69 K's in 13 appearances for the Hawks.

⚾️ Gaines is a Brewer! ⚾️

The Milwaukee Brewers have selected Andrew Gaines in the 10th round (311th overall) of the 2026 MLB Draft.

Gaines, a 2022 St. Augustine graduate, was a dynamic arm out of the bullpen for the Hermits in 2021 and 2022. He earned ten saves with 47 K's in 30.2 IP on the mound this past spring for St. Joseph's University.

⚾️ Weingartner gets the call from Chicago! ⚾️

NJ's first high school prospect is off the board as St. Augustine's Alex Weingartner is selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 6th round (166th overall) in the 2026 MLB Draft.

Weingartner was the Gatorade NJ Baseball Player of the Year this past spring as he batted .495 with 7 HRs, 46 runs scored, 36 RBI, 33 stolen bases. He also posted a 0.87 ERA with 81 K's over 48.1 innings on the mound.

⚾️ Lynch is heading out West! ⚾️

Moorestown graduate Ryan Lynch was selected by the San Diego Padres in the 3rd Round (97th overall) in the 2026 MLB Draft.

Lynch posted a 3.38 career ERA with 163 K's over 114 innings on the mound for Moorestown before becoming a key part of the North Carolina pitching rotation the past two seasons.

⚾️ Flukey is a first round pick! ⚾️

Egg Harbor Township graduate Cameron Flukey was selected by the Detroit Tigers with the 22nd overall pick in the first round of the 2026 MLB Draft.

Flukey posted a career 1.73 ERA with 159 K's over 93.2 during his high school days before going on to be a key part of the rotation for Coastal Carolina over the past three seasons.

⚾️ Big news heading into this weekend's MLB Draft as Gloucester Catholic SS and Mississippi State commit Noah Danza has withdrawn his name from the draft pool, as first reported by Baseball America.

Danza was ranked inside ESPN's top 250 draft prospects (#115) after batting .473 with 5 HRs, 54 runs scored, and 31 RBIs during a stellar senior campaign, where he helped GC win a fourth-straight state championship.

🚨 Breaking: 5-star recruit Xavier Sabb commits to Oregon! 🚨

Glassboro WR/DB and two-time state champion Xavier Sabb announced his commitment to play college football at the University of Oregon just moments ago on the @Rivals YouTube channel.

Sabb, NJ's top-ranked recruit in the class of 2027 according to ESPN, picked the Ducks over LSU, Tennessee, and UCLA. The rising senior is coming off back-to-back seasons of at least 800+ receiving yards and double-digit TDs, and has 13 career INTs defensively.

Congratulations to Glassboro's Jojo DeLecce on his commitment to play college football at Columbia University.

DeLecce played a key role on both sides of the ball in Glassboro's state title run as a junior. He had over 1,150 yards from scrimmage with 16 TDs, while adding over 70 tackles and 10 TFLs on defense in 2025 for the Bulldogs.

⚾️ ICYMI: Selden Kolkebeck goes out in style for Old Tappan ⚾️

The Columbia commit tossed a complete game shutout with 10 K's in the Group 3 state final on Sunday, while also picking up his 200th career K for the Golden Knights. It was his second-straight shutout and the tenth time this season he racked up double-digit strikeouts.

Kolkebeck completed an unforgettable senior campaign as he finished the year at 12-0 with a 0.72 ERA and 126 K's over 78 innings.

Selden Kolkebeck was masterful for OT at Rutgers, tossing a four-hit complete game shutout with 10 K's while adding 2 RBIs at the plate to lead the Golden Knights to a 5-0 win over Brick Memorial in the Group 3 state final. Old Tappan ends a nearly two-decade wait for the program's second state title overall.
