@LewisJo58265023 @CanWeGetToast I do believe in God, and totally agree with everything you had to say. Which is why I was commenting on on the difference between trauma and religious trauma, so as to safeguard from any unnecessary associations and assumptions about what is religion’s fault.
@CanWeGetToast From what is depicted in the show in his upbringing, it appears he had a fairly healthy upbringing with religion, his mom disappearing and going back to religious life not withstanding.
@CanWeGetToast That’s a really great point. I’ve never thought about it that way. Is it really “religious trauma” or just regular trauma with poorly drawn connection? I don’t think he has a poor relationship with Catholicism or even God, but can’t understand why what is happening is happening.
@CanWeGetToast Just because he makes those statements about him being like Job doesn’t mean his religion has traumatized him. Unless of course you believe all religion is bad and traumatizing.
@getnickwright@Chris_Broussard@FTFonFS1 Bills might be in situation like the Rams. Initial highs, promising coach but keeps running into a wall year after year. So sellout, mortgage future, f*** them draft picks, and hope that’s enough to put you over once.
@getnickwright@Chris_Broussard@FTFonFS1 If window means 3-5 years, here are teams you could argue are in a better situation not mentioned today: Lions, Jets, Seahawks, Panthers. Maybe the Texans and Colts.
