The good old days weren't so good, but then again they weren't that bad either...how will today be remembered...finding justice is not an easy walk...NO DMS
As a reminder, one of former Prime Minister Stephen Harper's ministers had to resign after claiming $16 for a freshly squeezed orange juice.
Just saying...
I’m 67, from the Alberta oil patch—grew up there, worked it, watched my dad do the same. As a teenager I had real hope for Canada: hard work paying off, affordable housing, food on the table, a future worth building.
My grandchildren? Facing a different country. Housing is unaffordable for young families. Groceries keep climbing—food prices up 30% in a decade, another 4-6% this year alone. Basics are squeezing budgets dry.
This Liberal government’s reckless spending and endless over-regulation are crushing our industries one by one: oil & gas strangled by carbon rules and pipeline games, farming pushed toward unviability and food insecurity, auto hit by bad trade calls with China and the US, forestry shutdowns, steel and aluminum on the ropes without proper US deals.
We’re at a crossroads. Average Canadians are paying the price in higher costs and lost opportunity while debt piles up and investment flees. This isn’t the G7 nation it claims to be—per-person living standards slipping behind peers. My grandkids’ future is on the line because of ideology over common sense and practicality.
We can’t afford more of the same. Time to face the reality before it’s too late. #CanadaAtCrossroads #AffordabilityCrisis #ResourceReality
This is insane.
An internal report by Parks Canada calls the creation of national parks “harmful” and a “colonial injustice” — a document that was kept from the public for two years.
Instead of simply celebrating Canada’s natural beauty and history, Parks Canada is now reviewing heritage sites through an ideological lens.
Canadians are proud of our national parks and historic sites. They should be protected, preserved, and celebrated, not treated as something to be ashamed of.
Mexicans have refused to comply with the Mexican Governments Mandate to register all phone lines, register their digital ID, and start using digital payments. The Mexican Government has been forced to continue extending the deadline to register because the majority of Mexicans refuse to do so.

Millions of Canadians can't afford food or pay their mortgage. Focus, "the war is out there".
To be clear, @PierrePoilievre will lead the Conservatives into the next election. He has an overwhelming mandate to do so, it's done.
Let's defeat @MarkCarney to bring Canada back.❤️🇨🇦
@SaskLass@markatr1 👍Well, last I heard all of the populations of all of the provinces and munialities still form part of Canada. That's what happens when a fruit identifies as a brain...
@SaskLass I propose that we put the entire federal government under a surveillance system 24 seven… kind of like digital IDs for the government… where transparency and accountability can be assured!! we must make this happen!!!!
When I speak to you about revolution, I am not speaking from a textbook. I am speaking about the revolution that stole Iran. I’m speaking about the revolution that forced my family to leave our home and everything my parents spent a lifetime building. I’m speaking about the revolution that turned one of the oldest civilizations in the world into a prison for women, a torture chamber for dissidents, and the leading state sponsor of terrorism.
So let’s get this straight.
Canada is in a recession.
Youth unemployment is through the roof.
Housing is unaffordable.
Deficits are exploding.
Living standards are falling.
And Mark Carney just announced ANOTHER $900 million for Ukraine.
This brings Canada’s total commitment to Ukraine since 2022 to well over $25.5 billion — including more than $8.5 billion in military aid alone.
That’s billions in taxpayer money sent overseas while Canadians can’t afford to buy a home, feed their families, or find decent work.
Ukraine is not in a recession. It’s a war economy being propped up by Western countries that are themselves struggling.
Meanwhile here at home:
- Record numbers of young Canadians can’t find jobs
- Construction is slowing
- Small businesses are getting crushed
- The middle class is getting squeezed harder every month
But sure… let’s send another $900 million.
This isn’t compassion. This is misplaced priorities on a national scale.
Canadians are tired of watching their country get poorer while billions keep flowing out the door to foreign conflicts.
When does Canada come first?
Drop a WTF 🤬 if you’re done watching our money get spent everywhere except here.

Brookfield partnered with Concert Properties 15 days before Carney announced the condo bailout in Vancouver.
And as was to be expected, Concert Properties is one of the developers receiving a portion of the billions in bailout cash.
This isn't a conflict of interest. It's embezzlement.
Dear @EvanLSolomon, any partying words of goodbye for our family? We are leaving Canada in part because of the astounding rise of Jew-hatred that the Quebec and Canadian governments have allowed to fester. Did we deserve to "live, work, worship, and raise our children without fear, intimidation, and hate"?
Canada is in recession and has no gold reserves.
Ukraine is not in recession and has 27.3 tons of gold, valued at $3.8B USD.
Why the fuck is Canada giving Ukraine, or any other country, money?
This is beyond corrupt. This is criminal.
Shutting down debates, removing cameras from committees, unelected majority, bribing floor crossers, hundreds of conflicts of interests, censoring the Internet…
This is the most corrupt government in Canada’s history.
