Students who commute from home to school using public transport (Bus, Jeep, and PUV) who pay the fare.
They hear drivers talking about the price of gas. They see the prices in gas stations reaching ₱70.
They feel their pockets empty as fares increase.
Does it not concern them?
I think one of the most interesting parts of Cars’ narrative and Lightning’s development,
The man has only ever had fans, never any actual friends, which makes him ultimately lonely but also arrogant and egotistical
the film ultimately humbles him by putting him in a town where both nobody knows who the hell he is, AND have active reason to dislike him thus people can only judge him based on his own actions and behavior
And once he finally stops being a dick he finally gets people he can form genuine connections with because he’s slowed down to actually get to know them and let them know him
Brad Pitt shares his favorite Adam Sandler story:
A professor took Sandler out for a beer & told him to pick another career.
After he made it big, they ran into each other. Sandler told his friends:
“This is the only teacher who ever bought me a beer.”
Seeing the internet realise that Cars was being hated for no real reason and that it's actually a really fun movie just warms my heart in a way I can't explain
I told my GF that I really wanted to start eating healthier because I gained 9lbs since I met her.
she got a list of healthy but tasty homecooked meals.
my back is fucked and she brought buffalo potato chicken casserole to me in bed.
there isn't a ring big enough for her
Remember this:
even if you go for it and it doesn't work out, you still win. you had the guts to head into the unknown and try something that scared you. this type of bravery takes you places.
AM I THE ONLY ONE? who feels weirdly appreciated when people post photo dumps and they actually include you? like, WOW.. I AM ACTUALLY A PART OF YOUR DAY??? AWWW THANK YOU
My husband hugged me from behind and said "thank you so much for everything you did today." Then kissed me. My toddler then walked up, hugged me from behind and said "thank you for making me soup mama." Then kissed my arm. YOUR CHILDREN SEE EVERYTHING.
