@ViralNewsNYC Where I lived in Brooklyn, before I escaped NY, we'd hear gunshots all the time. I would tell the kids they were fireworks. Sometimes we'd awaken at 3 am to the sound of a police helicopter hovering over the neighborhood. These things never made the news.
