Just a few days to the end of Buhari’s presidency, a government official paid over 140 million to a restaurant to construct classrooms. Because of the story, the journalist who published the story has been abducted by the police, but the government official who contracted a RESTAURANT to build a CLASSROOM is still chilling.
Today makes it a week since @Mazi_OJD of @fijnigeria was abducted, we call on all Nigerians to demand his release. Exposing corruption should not be a jail ticket. It defies logic by any standard.

On a daily basis, for the last three or four weeks, @fisayosoyombo has tirelessly provided facts, evidence and information on the smuggling, corruption and trafficking perpetrated by the Nigerian customs and its officials.

The Nigerian police did NOT arrest the smugglers. The Nigerian Police did NOT arrest IBD Dende. The Nigerian Police did NOT bother to investigate the criminals in the customs.

Guess who the Nigerian police wants to arrest and detain? The same journalist Fisayo who exposed the corruption and madness going on in customs.

I will never understand this:
You will leave actual criminals to witch-hunt and terrorise the whistleblower who exposed systemic rot and institutional madness in the customs.

This is not a country.
This is a lawless geographical shithole.

Pls speak up for Fisayo. Stand up for Fisayo. Lend your voice for Fisayo. We must not let this demonic forces of evil prevail. #IStandWithFisayo

Madam Rhoda Jatau is a Christian from Bauchi who’s been languishing in jail for condemning the kill!ng of Deborah in Sokoto! Issues like this reinforces my belief that we just can’t continue like this under one country if laws differ for certain people based on religion.

I remember the day Deborah was mvrdered by jihadlsts in Sokoto, and many Muslims supported it. I could not believe my eyes! A handful of those who managed to condemn it were shouted down and bullied to delete their tweets. I remember getting flagged on YouTube and TikTok because they reported my content about it. The aggression and violence is too much!

Again, we can’t continue like this.

They should release this woman and let us start having a conversation on how to pull away from bl00d tasty jihadists parading themselves as Nigerians.

I just wrote an open letter to the Governor on Public Procurement awards reported by LASG for the 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2023, highlighting a number of issues for further scrutiny and remedial action. Judicious use of public funds is always important, and is especially so now.
