@AvoidPerception@punishedcornpop@PanasonicDX4500 The Confederacy was not a legitimate recognized government and did not have any legal authority or process outlined in the Constitution to secede. There is a reason the word perpetual was used to describe the Union, its not something you can just opt out of.
@AvoidPerception@punishedcornpop@PanasonicDX4500 you can’t have a country if you allow secession over ideological differences, the union understood this and made what was obviously the right call, and then correctly reaffirmed that sentiment in Texas v White. Implying the Union were the aggressors at Fort Sumter is nonsense
@BonerPatriot@yungsIoth@abcdfgehi order what is on the menu and make minor submissions or changes. asking a restaurant to make new dishes for you is absurd and impolite. if you want meals this specific stay home or go to a place catered to dishes like those.
@Jourd_@PatriotsBoner@VKlker well unfortunately for you, you weren’t on the supreme court during William Kremmlers case, so you don’t actually get to determine whether torture applies to the 8th amendment. People much smarter than you already ruled it is actually a “cruel” punishment.
