The index hit -41% this morning, vs. previous 17-day worst was -29%, previous any-duration worst was -50% (dotcom bust), and I'm willing to say now that this morning was likely was the bottom.
@accounting_ds@Raymond1103SD Not really. Space is falling due to hedging for SPCX. As we get closer to the lockup period ending, the hedges will fall off and RKLB should go up
@spacanpanman@Sphincter_Salad Wud this mean after the spike in short interest, it stays elevated until the tranches open up but the space basket wud slowly recover after the initial drop? There is a finite # of ppl trying to lock in their gains so after they are done, shud see incremental buying?
This! 100% this is why I tell people mindset beats stock picking. If you have the mindset to lose 1/2 your money and not flinch, you will be richer than the stock picking genius who sells on a 5% dip.
@BlackScholesMan@Kaizen_Investor When do you think. The issue with the positive catalysts in the near future for $ASTS e.g launch tonight and batch 2 shipment is that space stocks all move in tandem so regardless of how $ASTS performs, it seems it just depends on when Space is favourable again
@Temple_Eight How does this reconcile with your bullishness on $PENG. Despite the great fundamentals, in a market downturn - it will fall with the rest of AI runners
@GrumpierBTDay@kingtutcap How do you stay bullish on $VELO with the concerning points @cupofcoffeecap raised? There is a lot going for it but the latest Q makes me skeptical of Arun.
@nitinkinvest @stock21298 Gives me dbox vibes from a few months ago. There was clear alternative data that it will be blockbuster Q. From the data you’ve shown, looks like a no brainer - I’m thinking of sizing is significantly into earnings
