@TheBigPic@jowrotethis@SeanFennessey As a Marin native who was lucky enough to grow up with the Hope/Crosby Road movies (Road to Morocco is for sure the best!), this ep was a special one. Cheers @jowrotethis!

@TheBigPic@SeanFennessey@akdobbins I’m a real person (I promise) and I saw ‘To Leslie’ in December because it was a Maron joint… Riseborough really did crush it!
Again, Republicans in key state legislatures across the country have passed laws that do not allow the tabulation of early and mail-in ballots until Election Day for no other reason than to create chaos and distrust in our election system.
@arizona_melissa @TheMightyChin1@imjdsharp@kanyewest Melissa, hear me out: 1) there is no “their government” as most Jews live outside of Israel and many don’t align with the government in power. 2) MOST VERY RICH FOLKS USE MONEY TO INFLUENCE POLITICS! Why do you think Republicans want to cut taxes for the wealthy?? Rich donors.
@kozzmoknight@sc0rch @Mediemannen @chrislhayes@actdottv Railing against “Consumerism” is not equivalent to fighting corporate greed i.e. corporations that don’t treat their workers fairly or cheat on taxes. Look up the history of that term in right-wing political context and that should help clarify.
@yeadudeitschr1s@WaltHickey@chrislhayes I don’t necessarily disagree. Consecutive term limits definitely make sense to me. I do know competent people over 80 let alone 50 in terms of both computer skills and driving - AND are very attuned to world events and would be better than many sitting senators. But I hear ya.
@WaltHickey@chrislhayes Life expectancy is still up 30 years since 1900. I understand there’s been a wave of senators staying in office longer (Storm Thurmond was a senator until he was 100!) but I think in part that’s because they can still function at 65+ when that used to be past life expectancy.
@Rochard32986769@JoeBiden How’d this turn out eh? But hey it’s not too late to see the truth for what it is. When people with or seeking power tell you who they are and what they are trying to do with that power, it’s a good idea to listen.
