@beaverd Making up crap about a kid who's probably 13 years old and doing something nondestructive is just sad. 80% of millionaires are self made. It's a fact the victims deny. These people cant cope hard enough.
@0xRuzy Simple mortgage math. Investing the extra that would be needed for early payoff yields a higher net worth of 2x plus in year 31. Have to invest the difference though - the discipline part. Compound interest beats peace of mind by a lot with 10% investment growth vs 3% rate.
@OldRowSwig Wow. Saw NYC years ago when it was the center of the free world. Absolute dumpster fire now. Sad. No clue why people go there or live there.
@tangle9876@SouthwestAir New boarding process sucks if you're A list. Overhead space above your seat toward front of plane is almost always gone now. Benefit of the old process for frequent flyers was you were guaranteed relative seat choice and overhead space. 5 flights since this change - same result
@texasrunnerDFW Tough topic because property taxes vary greatly by state and municipality. Most people I know are cool paying a reasonable amount collectively for the services you mentioned. But if your prop taxes were 15k per year you'd probably feel like you were paying way too much
@DividendMil Building your goals based on # of shares owned in an ETF or index fund (instead of dollars held) is incredibly effective for the long term passive investor. Few take this approach.
@Colt_Hoosier@Trndk1ll@CollegeFBonX Mmmk. You hired a great coach that systematically built a great team piece by piece. You went from really bad to really good after new coach and lots of NIL cash. Again - a good story.
@Trndk1ll@CollegeFBonX If Ole Miss wins it all, it will go down as one of the greatest stories in the history of college sports. The Kiffin departure saga, the D2 qb's rise to stardom, and the biggest FU to a departing coach ever (with a natty win). Indiana is a good story. OM would be the greatest.
