💯 agree, even when you can afford it, it is financially reckless to pay that amount for makeup for a one time event. Purchasing expensive makeup items makes more sense because you use it over and again. And I hate this silly, “you are not their target audience” language that is so prevalent, people call out stuff that really makes no sense and suddenly “you are not the target “, like what exactly is wrong with us?, and then we expect our leaders to take us seriously when we have no qualms spending an absurd amount on something like erm… makeup!
