Visually impaired guide dog user, father of beautiful autistic daughters. Network engineer, against inappropriate MH inpatient care for autistic people.
@EastlandKate @sarasiobhan Vipers - should have been helping-instead of providing totally inadequate care and want to blame someone so pick on dad as easy target - it’s obvious Dad was doing all he could to help his daughter - he is clearly a hero, both parents are, the agencies should all be ashamed :-(

Thank you so much for your lovely comment. We are determined to make it easier for families in hospital so they can just concentrate on their child and not on trying to get food, toiletries or transport! We will keep pushing for change. #sophieslegacy
‘A group of 100 current and former patients and their families told The Independent that the thought of the hospital reopening for adults has caused “unimaginable trauma” among the young people who fear they could be admitted to the hospital as an adult.’
Ruth Szymankiewicz's death at Taplow Manor in February 2022 could, and should, have been prevented. Active Care Group and its then CEO, Sylvia Tang, must be considered criminally responsible for Ruth's death.

How has @NHSEngland & @DHSCgovuk allowed this to happen in a matter of weeks, despite opening of criminal investigation by @CareQualityComm & clear testimonies of systemic abuse and malpractice?
@CareQualityComm You started to investigate my sisters death 2 years after she died then prosecuted @DimensionsUK too late the 3 year limit had expired the company responsible for NEGLECTING my sister walked because as the coroner said "you mucked up "
Now I'm left with the consequences of his actions. He's hareasing me,, I can't get away from him and it makes it hard to complain because technically he's just saying hi, but he knows what he's doing and makes my heart skip even more beats. And mimicking me crying saying triggers
@EastwoodGrimes Sorry you are going through this Amy - lots of staff in these hospitals seem to put their own egos above patients needs unfortunately. It is often abusive and amazing so many stand by and watch and not speaking up. You are a star - stay strong x
@isabelle241212 My daughter requested this when discharged last year aged 15. She wanted to stay strong to access therapy. It was refused and 3 months later she was back in hospital malnourished and sat on paediatric ward for 7 months being forced Ng- we were told it’s against National guidance
Yes,MH units shut and staff moved to other units to carry on abusing &neglecting children &adults & the vulnerable patients are moved to other units that are equally abusive and neglectful @CareQualityComm .
They always find ways to get away with accountability, find loopholes
@DaveRackliff@CareQualityComm Talk is cheap @CareQualityComm - show us you actually mean it because we have heard it all before. I agree Taplow Manor would be a good starting place
