From one trader to another. 📊🤝🏼
Not financial advice.
Figured it’s time for a proper introduction.
I’m Danny, aka “Dan Right,” the trader behind The Right Move.
I’m not hiding behind a logo or pumping out faceless content. There’s a real person behind these posts, and I want you to know who I am.
I’ve been trading since 2009 (former Series 7/66), and today I’m combining that experience with market data, technology, and a custom-built AI trading system.
I started this account to share market insights, setups, trades, and lessons learned along the way.
Expect honest opinions, trading psychology, sarcasm, and plenty of GIFs and memes. 😂
No courses or trading-guru nonsense. I do plan to eventually offer access to my AI trading interface.
If you love the markets and want real trading conversations without the bullshit, give me a follow.
Let’s make some money. 💵
From one trader to another. 🤝🏼
You ever sit down at your computer to do ONE quick thing…
Then look up and somehow four hours have disappeared?
That’s me every weekend with my AI trading project.
At this point, I’m not sure who’s training who. 😂
FML..
Weekend debate:
Would you rather be rich with no free time, or make less money and actually have a life?
More money, less freedom
Less money, more freedom
Me?
The older I get, the more I realize time is the one thing you can’t buy back.
What’s your pick?
Over the years, I’ve learned to start with a small position, usually around 20% of what I ultimately want to own.
If it pulls back to my target, I add. If it takes off without me, at least I’ve got some skin in the game.
Takes a lot of the FOMO and second-guessing out of it.
Of course, I had $SPCX around $96 and that little voice in my head said, “Nah, put in an order at $86.”
Still waiting. Dumbass. 😂
📊 THE WEEK AHEAD | OCT 26–30
The market looks a lot worse than the headline numbers suggest. But dig a little deeper, and things get interesting.
Over the last two weeks, the S&P 500 has shed 2.4%, with the Nasdaq taking an even bigger hit.
Yet last week alone:
🔴 S&P 500: −0.47%
🔴 Nasdaq: −0.71%
🟢 Dow: +0.41%
🟢 Russell 2000: +2.09%
Here’s the interesting part: 67% of S&P 500 stocks actually finished the week higher.
That’s not broad-based selling. That’s concentrated weakness, particularly in mega-cap tech and AI.
Now we’re heading into a monster week.
📅 Tuesday: $UPS, $BA, $KO, $V, $HOOD
📅 Wednesday: Fed decision + $MSFT and $GOOGL earnings
📅 Thursday: GDP, PCE inflation + $AMZN, $LLY, $INTC
📅 Friday: $XOM, $CVX, $ABBV
Big Tech earnings, the Fed, and inflation data all packed into 48 hours.
The question is whether earnings can restore confidence in the AI trade or whether the selling pressure has further to go.
I’ll be watching $SPY, $QQQ, semiconductors, and market breadth closely.
A lot of moving pieces.
No reason to force anything.

@strictrope@TheOptionsNomad I’m new around here, but I’m slowly learning about your journey.
Gotta respect the resilience, relentless optimism, and refusal to quit.
Keep your head up, bro. I’m rooting for you to do it all over again. 💪
The market doesn’t know your entry price.
It doesn’t know how much you’re down.
And it certainly doesn’t care that you need the trade to work.
Manage the position you have. Not the outcome you’re hoping for.
TLDR:
Fuck your feelings.
Trade the chart.
