You cried, wailed, and flooded the timeline when our schoolchildren and teachers were kidnapped in Oyo.
Now they’ve been rescued after 56 days by our brave security forces.
Where is the same energy? Come out publicly, celebrate the children’s safe return, and applaud the officers who risked everything to bring them home.
Silence now will only prove one thing: you were amplified for the bad news, not for Nigeria.
Your move. The country is watching. 🇳🇬
Peter Obi is now trapped in a self-made Bermuda Triangle: a burning aircraft on one side, political quicksand on the other. And he piloted himself straight into it.
Apologise and pay the fine? He admits his persecution story was overblown, leaving him and his supporters looking foolish. Dig in and refuse? He becomes the exact entitled elite he campaigns against, demanding special treatment on the eve of another presidential run.
Damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t.
Quick fact-check on the NDLEA story: Where exactly is the husband/partner, Jan Coenraad De Jager, from? Reports indicate he is South African, with operations based in Cambodia, and the pair allegedly ran a Cambodia–South Africa heroin trafficking route together.
Nigerian immigration authorities should consider enhanced background checks for visa applicants, including family/partner details, travel history, and the location records of any declared or known associates.
Different offence. Different situation. Different motive. Different outcome.
When KWAM 1 blocked an aircraft on the tarmac, he publicly apologised, accepted full responsibility, and pleaded for mercy without playing the victim or claiming persecution.
Peter Obi’s parking breach surfaced only after he raised it on a podcast. Rather than paying the standard ₦25,000 fine, he immediately alleged political targeting and victimhood.
Same airport rules. Worlds apart in response.
Peter Obi finds himself caught between a perilous situation involving a burning aircraft and the mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle and this predicament is entirely due to his own actions.
Festus Keyamo has slammed the door shut.
The Aviation Minister has issued a blunt ultimatum: publicly apologise to the airport staff Obi smeared as persecutors, and pay the 25.000 naira fine for that blatant parking violation.
Now Obi faces an impossible bind. Say sorry and pay up and he admits his persecution tale was exaggerated, leaving himself and his supporters looking foolish. Dig in and refuse, and he looks like the very elite he rails against, demanding special treatment just before another presidential run. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t.
This began as a routine parking offence that never needed to explode. Obi turned it into high drama; Keyamo answered with hard evidence and a call for basic fairness.
Even so, the Minister would do well to watch his back carefully. A counter-attack is almost certain, with freshly cooked-up criminal stories likely to emerge from Obi’s team and loyal supporters. Keyamo must prepare himself for a proper fight.
The ball is in Obi’s court. Will he step up as a serious leader and own up to the mistake, or double down and watch his little credibility (if any) crumble? The public is watching, and the clock is ticking loudly.
Peter Obi’s take on strengthening the opposition sounds noble on paper. But does it really add up?
He claims that, as president, he would build up rival parties to strengthen democracy. Come off it. That’s like McDonald’s tweaking KFC’s recipes to help them compete. It just doesn’t ring true in the cut and thrust of Nigerian politics.
As governor of Anambra, he faced repeated claims of favouring Catholics in appointments and influence. Other Christians, especially Anglicans and Pentecostals, often felt sidelined. He deepened church involvement in state affairs and left divisions that linger to this day.
His party record raises further questions. He moved from APGA to PDP, then to Labour, and now appears to be tied to the NDC. Each switch created fresh factions and rival camps. Unity rarely followed. The pattern suggests opportunism more than a steady principle.
Yet he now lectures against any single party holding all the answers. Fair point in theory. In practice, it sits awkwardly with his own history of selective inclusion and shifting allegiances. Talk is easy. Consistent action proves harder.
Strong opposition keeps governments honest. No argument there. But leaders earn trust by practising what they preach while in office, not just by promising it from the sidelines.
Why does Obi keep offering these grand visions? Does he believe voters forget the past? Or is this polished rhetoric designed to impress without the hard graft of real reconciliation?
Nigeria needs leaders who match words with deeds. The country has seen enough of nice speeches that crumble under scrutiny.
What do you think? Can a politician with this track record of favouritism and party-hopping genuinely deliver the inclusive democracy he describes? Or is it simply more campaign talk?

He has never built his brand on any integrity and speaking truth to power.
He was in power for 8 years and everything in that state went down - tuition increase, doctors/nurses strike, no good school, roads became worse, erosion took over, etc - and offered no solution.
He won’t ? Even if it’s not premeditated, it’s already part of their plans forced identity manipulation, regional destruction, and the coerced use of national resources for their sole advantage, with devastating effects on a massive scale.
Those who only see him through paparazzi lenses fail to understand how dangerous he could be. They threw those people into the river, and the werey didn’t even flinch.
Nowhere in southern Nigeria have I witnessed such a gruesome massacre.
A prof from their clan even made bold to eulogise a known mass murderer in the name of forced national identity, the other one requested abolition of indegenship. Those guys ain't hiding their mission at all.

Remember His Name. 🕯️
Never Forget His Sacrifice. 🕯️
Late Lieutenant FA Isaac 🕊️
He answered the call of duty without hesitation. In the brave effort to rescue kidnapped victims in Orire, he paid the ultimate price, laying down his own life so that others could live.
Same Yesterday that Troops Rescued the Oyo-Orire Pupils and Teachers, he was also laid to rest with honour, but his courage, selflessness, and sacrifice will never be buried. He stood where many would have fled, fought when others feared, and gave everything for people he may never have known.
May we never forget the cost of the peace and security we often take for granted. Heroes like him deserve our eternal gratitude and remembrance.
Rest in perfect peace, Gallant Soldier. Your watch has ended, but your legacy lives on forever. 🪽🪽🪽🪽🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🇳🇬

Have you watched Peter Obi's remarks on With Chude? He framed the airport tyre-clamping as unjust persecution and part of a broader government harassment campaign, claiming his car was singled out while others nearby were untouched.
Have you read Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo’s press release and the attached CCTV footage? They show that Obi’s police-driven vehicle was left unattended for about 30 minutes in a prohibited drop-off zone on 4 July 2026, a clear security risk, before staff clamped the tyres under standard rules. Influence was then used to secure its release without paying the N25,000 fine.
No former presidential candidate could pull this in the US or any European country and expect to evade accountability while publicly crying persecution.
