When Shahrukh Khan praised the bravery of Captain Smit Machchhar, the troll army of our country started trolling Shahrukh Khan.
Shahrukh Khan had only praised Captain Smit Machchhar and had not taken part in a Hindu religious festival, yet why did the troll army start trolling Shahrukh Khan on this issue this is a big and serious question.
Shah Rukh Khan is an Indian citizen, and the Constitution grants him the right to freedom of expression. However, what he should speak about and what he should not speak about is a personal matter for Shahrukh Khan. The troll army should not tell Shahrukh Khan which issues he should speak on and which issues he should not speak on.
Captain Smit Machchhar is a Hindu as well as an Indian, and a person who considers India his own country should take pride in Captain Smit Machchhar.
Perhaps those who do not consider India their own country do not take pride in the bravery of Captain Smit Machchhar.

The country is watching. In the name of investigative journalism, a constitutional institution is being targeted, and the moment the curtain lifts, the question stops at the money.
In the expenditure statement submitted by the Congress to the Election Commission, a payment of nearly ₹81.45 lakh to The Indian Express is recorded during the West Bengal elections. The same newspaper, which calls itself Journalism of Courage, is running such reporting on Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and the Election Commission that questions are raised about the institution’s credibility and the opposition’s narrative is strengthened.
This is not a coincidence. It is a sequence. First the money in the name of advertising, then the attack in the name of an “exposé.” When the money comes from one side and the arrows fly the other way, it is not called courage. It is called a deal.
Democracy runs on the freedom of the media, not on media contracts. Readers have the right to know which report is in the public interest and which is part of a sponsored campaign. The documents are public. The questions should be public too.
Journalism of Courage, or Journalism for Cash? The Congress should answer. The Indian Express should answer.

While the entire world is praising Captain Smit Machhar’s courage in which, despite being injured, he stood firm in the cockpit and saved the aircraft and the lives of the passengers Congress MP Imran Masood is dismissing it as “NO BRAVERY, JUST BJP’S CELEBRATION.”
Rahul Gandhi and the Congress high command are silent on this statement. The question is not of religion, but of the act itself. The valour that the international media and world leaders are honouring is being downplayed by Congress leaders. Had the same act been performed by a pilot with a different name, the party’s tone today would have been different. Placing the party’s calculations above national pride is an old habit of the Congress and this is precisely what prevents it from becoming a credible opposition.

Sanjay Dutt’s remarks on Shekhar Suman’s show where he said he no longer feels the same peace and calm in his own country and wished for the return of earlier days call for a courteous but clear response.
Every citizen has the right to express concern about the national atmosphere, and it may suit him to confine a public statement to “scripted humour.” Yet when advice on peace, harmony, and responsibility comes from someone whose own public journey has included recorded tests of law, discipline, and public trust, the comment reads less as analysis and more as irony. The country has, on several occasions, given personal lapses the chance of reform; to then speak of a lack of peace in that same country appears closer to role-playing than to self-reflection.
Respectfully, example carries more weight than exhortation. Humour may be contextual, but accountability for a public statement usually survives the context. One hopes future remarks on the country’s condition will weigh personal experience and the historical record with greater balance.

India is no longer only advocating peace in the Russia-Ukraine war. It is now part of the diplomatic process.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister @andrii_sybiha has said Kyiv has four ceasefire proposals from India, Türkiye, Egypt and the United States and that India’s is the broadest. Ukraine is prepared to consider an energy and Black Sea truce together, covering strikes on energy facilities, port infrastructure and the Black Sea.
President Vladimir Putin has separately said Prime Minister @narendramodi ji raises the need to end the conflict at every meeting and has “VERY GOOD IDEAS” for a mutually acceptable solution.
External Affairs Minister @DrSJaishankar ji. has confirmed that in recent months India has moved beyond advocacy, holding talks with both Moscow and Kyiv on Black Sea shipping safety, grain and energy exports, and possible non-attack arrangements.
New Delhi’s position remains consistent: dialogue over alignment, and an end to war over an endless war. When both sides treat the same proposal as serious, that role is no longer symbolic.
Choosing the side of peace is also a strategic choice.
