The rumor mill is churning, and Joey Porter Jr. to Detroit is one of the names getting tossed around.

Sounds great.

I just don’t see Pittsburgh doing it.

He’s 26, he’s good, he’s homegrown, and his dad is a Steelers legend. They haven’t shown any real desire to move him.

And if they did, I’d bet the conversation starts with a 1st-round pick.

That’s where it gets tough.

Detroit would basically be paying a 1st for one year of Porter and a Super Bowl run, then likely letting him walk and hoping to get a comp pick back.

Would Brad give up a 1st for a rental? I just don't see it, even if Porter were available.
