Here's my book review of He Who Drowned the World by @shelleypchan, the heart-wrenching finale to The Radiant Emperor duology. It is dark, full of tension and... even better than the first book! Thanks to @torbooks and @NetGalley for the ARC!

I love spicy food but this tteokbokki almost had me. I shoud have figured it out just by looking at the coulour of the sauce lol. It was delicious though, my mouth is on fire but I regret nothing.

On a des nouvelles du nouveau ministre de l’Éducation : Gabriel Ciotti. Son obsession ? Les musulmans.
Plus précisément, les musulmanes. Pour ne pas changer. https://t.co/4WUGfxfl0y

Happy book birthday to one of the best books I've read all year!! I finished it yesterday and let's just say, IT WAS A WILD RIDE. And a 5⭐️read obviously!! 🤩🥹💔😭

[Shelley Parker-Chan @shelleypchan]

He Who Drowned the World is out today from @torbooks!

Yes, it’s dark. It’s about queer people who’ve been hurt by the world, who learn to hurt in return. But it also has the loveliest moments of human connection I’ve ever written.

I hope it brings you both pain and catharsis 💙

So I decided to do a Bookstagram account for my French reading. If you read in French and/or just want to support, it's here! https://t.co/TV6Pdyay3J

[Maryam @thecurioussffreader @thesffreader]

@emdashliu I'm pretty sure I'm reading the exact same book as you (He Who Drowned the World?) 👀

[Maryam @thecurioussffreader @thesffreader]

Just finished chapter 16 of HE WHO DROWNED THE WORLD and I was so frustrated I screamed, I love Ouyang but he's such a little shit OH MY GOD

[Maryam @thecurioussffreader @thesffreader]

@shelleypchan I get that sometimes but here it's just the right amount (for me at least)! 😄

[Maryam @thecurioussffreader @thesffreader]

I now feel better, I can go back to the book!

[Maryam @thecurioussffreader @thesffreader]

I'm reading HE WHO DROWNED THE WORLD by @shelleypchan and I have to take a lot of breaks to calm down because I'm so stressed. I'm feeling all the emotions, the last book that made me feel all the feels like this was GOLDEN SON by Pierce Brown in 2016!

[Maryam @thecurioussffreader @thesffreader]

Also, the tension between the characters is great, I have missed them so much! *insert multiple excited fangirl squeal*
