I think this would actually work if the policy excluded cancellations based on events after the policy inception date. It would only cover cancellations stemming from past actions. This eliminates the moral hazard of someone saying something stupid to cash in on the policy...

The trigger of a "cancellable event" would simply be loss of income based on something you said or did.
