If you took the time to watch it in slow motion you would see the initial impact is to the chest and then his arm slipped up and the tackler was falling down. There were several questionable decisions, this was not one of them

@Nibsnib @TomManners @SquidgeRugby He was never in a position to wrap his arm. His tackle caused Mpimpi to land on his head. Its the responsibility of the tackler to ensure ball carrier lands safely. Red cards have been given for less. The law awards a penalty try and a card for illegal tackle preventing a try.

Awesome to have competed in my first surf lifesaving comp in over 2 1/2 years. Managed to win the senior beach sprint and flags at a local carnival at Red Beach. Bonus that there was also some prize $ up for grabs #stillgotit
