@AranelParmadil Why would anyone choose to do this in a post-Covid world? I can understand booking a cabin on a passenger ship vs a plane but in a more utilitarian fashion if you wanted to cross water but this kind of behavior has always made me so uncomfortable.

@DoctorAtlantis I think it is, because my mom has an iPhone (I refuse to get Apple) and when we were talking when she was leaving work she'd always have to pause to let it connect to the car. Granted, I have a 2008 scion so my car could just be old, but my phone rarely auto connects to anything

I've heard all the excuses about how busy doctors are, but I think a large part comes from the system not being equipped to handle chronically ill patients. It wants a House narrative: sick->fix->cured and if that doesn't work, it's your fault.

@3TomatoesShort Was just complaining about this last night to a friend about how difficult it is to get both regular care, and care for my chronic migraines, because none of my “care team” (which now includes epilepsy) is talking to each other. Are all my meds correct? Who knows!
