My friend is having serious issues and cant move into a building he bought because when he bought the apartment back in 2023 when usd was still N700 , the developers accepted to spread the payments over a couple months.

But the problem is, the builders sold the property to him in usd value while he was paying N, on the doc the N is reflected, now they’re refusing to finish the property and hand over cos the valuation is less than 50% of the sell.

I advised him to pay the difference but he refused, now the building been abandoned for almost a year. Likely to go to court.
