@AllisonPearson Of course “parents who take responsibility & work hard to provide for their kids” are immune from redundancy, divorce, illness, death & any other change of circumstances so it is & always will be no help to them whatsoever. No societal benefit to fewer children in poverty either.
@NeilDotObrien How can anyone trust anything you say when you constantly post misleading information on here? As many have said, it’s result of 2014 Tory legislation. You should be embarrassed so many of your followers are gullible and ignorant enough to take what you’ve posted at face value.
@NeilDotObrien And you don’t have to be an economic genius to work out that the cost of providing the service in a school which has the facilities etc already available will be significantly less than the cost that parents might pay for for it privately.
@NeilDotObrien You are coming across as quite simple here. Surely you understand that they are not actually giving £450 to all primary school children? That is the most (for most it will be less, that’s what the “up to” bit means) of what parents might SAVE by not having to pay for childcare.
@NeilDotObrien If it’s policy that pushes up electricity prices then why did you allow prices to rise so much while you were in power? They rose by much more while Tories were in government. Either you have the memory of a goldfish or you think your followers do.
Badenoch: “The govt is recruiting a new chief inspector of borders, who lives in Finland & wants to WFH, this is not serious”
Starmer: “He was appointed in 2019 by the last govt, he then worked from Finland. He’ll now be working from the UK full time”

@NeilDotObrien@edwest I have a strong suspicion that your lot slashing councils budgets and cutting services that used to help tackle the root causes might’ve had an impact.
@SylDeLaMer@JonnElledge@NeilDotObrien I think their aim was *not* to increase a tax that disproportionately affects the pockets of the lowest earners, which is the case for those three you have listed.
@thelowse@NeilDotObrien That's what I thought. Illegal migration and healthcare only been getting worse over last 14 years. Doesn’t seem like the best two things to campaign on 🤔
