*UPDATE on this Story*
According to my sources inside the Detroit City FC and AlumniFi Field, this does not affect the ability to host the Panthers for the 2028 season.
Obviously, any situation is fluid and things happen but at this moment in time, the dream for 2028 is still alive.

HUGE Scoop of #UFL talent signs to the #Saints:
- @UFLKings K Tanner Brown
- @UFLGamblers QB Hunter Dekkers
- @UFLGamblers WR Jalen Moreno-Cropper
Tanner Brown just won a Championship with the #Kings, earning All-UFL honors with 3 kicks of 60 or more yards.
NEWS: The Detroit #Lions are signing Louisville #Kings WR's Lucky Jackson & Tarik Black, per source.
Both Black (387 YD/3 TD) & Jackson (392 YD, 2 TD) were key pieces in LOU's #UFL Championship run.
Detroit, a team known for signing spring talent, brings in two wideouts.
ESPN went out of their way to produce an in-studio Pre-Game & Halftime show for the #UFL playoffs, and they knocked it out of the park.
The United Bowl production on ABC was especially impressive:
- Roddy Jones as the primary analyst was an excellent choice, he's called a plethora of spring games over the years, his knowledge of this space was on full display
- Bringing in Renegades HC Rick Neuheisel, who has tons of media experience, brought it to another level. That chemistry w/ Roddy and insight was tremendous, Rick is made for the camera
Hope we see ESPN bring this back next season. It looked, sounded, and felt very professional.
Season 4 Finale 🎬✅
Winning a title at home is something every fan dreams of..
Not all dreams come true, but United Bowl weekend was still a movie 🎥
The @RepoleStable rebrand is just beginning.
From @peoples_gambler & I, thank you for watching Springball Boulevard! 🤝

What a game. Really a tale of two halves. You can’t underestimate the 14-point swing in the first half between the punch out fumble on Valladay and the scoop and score fumble return by the Kings.
Jack Plummer's season was one for the record books, and now he's taking home the league's highest individual honor.
Congratulations 2026 UFL MVP Jack Plummer!
