A police force should protect citizens, not become a source of fear and intimidation. When people lose confidence in those meant to protect them, the consequences can be dangerous. If these actions continue unchecked, an upcoming unrest could be caused by the actions of the Nigerian Police.

The government must act now reform the system, enforce accountability, and restore public trust before the damage becomes irreversible.
