We're adding more automations in the next releases. First up, automatically turn off Vivid after x number of minutes β°
What kind of automations do you want to see?
We just released an update with improved support for macOS 26 Tahoe and a fix for a white pixel some users were seeing. The app won't open a window on launch anymore either π

Vivid 2.6 is out now which fixes an issue where some users saw a dirty pixel! And... π Battery Automations! Automatically turn Vivid off when you get below a certain percentage. Expect more automations soon.

App Store and Setapp versions coming soon.
Of course we (@jordibruin and @BenLumenDigital) had to meet up again in real life (for the second time ever) to celebrate! π₯³
Thanks a lot to everyone who purchased Vivid and helped us improve it over the year!
When Vivid came out in early April 2022 it finally allowed MacBook Pro users to experience the full 1.000 nits of brightness of their XDR display across all their apps.
To celebrate, Vivid is available for just 5 euros for the next five days. Get it from https://t.co/UxtvcvlR5S
@djco You're right. Right now every bar on the brightness bar gets a small bump up. We're looking at ways to handle this differently in the future and actually have a meeting about that tomorrow π
@djco Thanks, we'll add it. And the answer is yes. Just like with the regular range of brightness, a higher brightness will cost more battery. You can try it for yourself in splitscreen mode to get an estimate on how much it affects your workflow π
We released version 2.5 yesterday which fixes an issue where an alert would show up when restarting your Mac. Check for updates through the menubar icon π
