the weirdest thing about getting older is realizing that nobody is actually coming to explain everything to you.

people are just walking around carrying responsibilities, making decisions, pretending they know what they're doing.

Spent so much of my life thinking I needed to have everything figured out before I could start.

Then I started noticing that people who looked like they had everything figured out were also just making things up as they went. The difference is they didn't wait to feel ready.

One funny thing is you can waste years preparing for a life you could've started living with much less preparation. The first version will probably be embarrassing. The second one might still be bad.

But eventually you'll have something most people never get: momentum.
