Llama 2's recent open-sourcing by Meta will disrupt the LLM market, posing direct competition to ChatGPT, while also posing a significant threat to open-source startups like Mosiac and Red Pajama.

I think this upswing in #AI tools is only going to ignite a human renaissance in creativity, where the digital equivalent of a one-of-a-kind artisanal piece becomes just as coveted as a handmade piece of furniture. A world of design where the human touch is celebrated more.

I was really surprised with the Dynamic Island in new iPhones. Designers at @Apple basically took something that was ugly (the notch), leaned into it, and gave that wasted space some utility. Kudos!
We have passed the point of designing for consumption and should focus more on designing for the future by providing guidance and ease towards ethical and mindful choices and behavior.
Since I’ve been asked a lot:
Buy stock in several companies that make products & services that *you* believe in.
Only sell if you think their products & services are trending worse. Don’t panic when the market does.
This will serve you well in the long-term.
