The 85 year old homeowner said that he thought it was a break in attempt as it was 10:00 PM. Said all he saw was an individual standing over 6 feet tall trying to enter his home.

A tragic and terrible situation no doubt, but one which we do not know the full circumstances of and must assume innocence over guilt for now.

Yarl claims he did not attempt to access the outer door of the home.
