The first thing I do when joining any membership is to cancel it (and subsequently unlock a hidden deal).
I’m curious how brands will negotiate with personal agents who know to seek these out on behalf of every consumer.
Saturday deep dive: @imprint
“Stop scrolling. Start learning.”
- Launched in 2020 by the founder of Episode (you'll recognize their ads), ~300M users, $1B+ revenue
- ~200K downloads last month
- $74.99/year, 7 day free trial
- Enormous Meta ad library, basically every learning angle imaginable, finance, philosophy, psychology, parenting, history, productivity
- Cracked growth team, Head of Growth previously ran performance marketing at Duolingo
I tried the app and it’s pretty mid. Lots of Duo psychology but much less of the polish.
I think this business works because people hate their scrolling addiction, and downloading the app feels like progress against it (it's not).
A 7 day free trial you then forget about and a $75 annual subscription you'll never use is the money maker.
Would love to see their D30 and D90 engagement.
Decent funnel nonetheless.
Napkin math:
200K downloads/month (could be more)
× ~3% paid
= ~6K new subscribers/month
× ~$75
= ~$450K per monthly cohort
= ~$5M annualized
More than 300 million people ask AI health questions every week.
Generic AI knows the question. It doesn't know you.
It hasn't seen your lab results, sleep patterns, heart rate, symptoms, medical history, family health history, etc.
Superpower brings that context together.
Pair your Whoop, Oura, Apple Health, Eight Sleep, and other health devices to bring your daily health data into Superpower.
Upload past lab results, medical records, scans, and relevant family health history.
Then pick up where you left off by importing past health conversations from ChatGPT and Claude.
Superpower brings your blood data, medical history, wearable data, and previous health conversations into one place.
So when you ask a question about your health, the answer is grounded in you.
The future of health is personalized.
One of the most important health tests for women isn't part of a routine checkup.
Today, it's available through Superpower.
We're excited to partner with @GetTinyHealth to bring at-home vaginal microbiome testing to our members.
