1/Friday was our final day in Geneva, and an important one as we hosted a session: "The Human Rights of the Chagossians and the United Nations" alongside our friends from Chagos Asylum People. The session painted a vivid account of life on the islands and the trauma of exile

Day 3 at @UN4indigenous had a theme of human rights. Mylene and Frankie of CV both spoke of the need for restorative justice, a right to return and for the UN to support Chagossian self-determination.
It was a pleasure to welcome @hrw team to Crawley for the pre-launch event for the Chagossian community. We welcome the report and thank them for their hard work and friendship and the recognition of Chagossian indigineity.
