@researchne89461@InvestSpecial Previous bump was prefaced by a mutual agreed upon delay to the tender offer start. Today another strange 3 day delay was announced, suggesting that there still might be somebody around trying to make a move.
@NeverLoseMoney@Ron284Ron I also held a few shares, happy to hold them through the redomestication. These projections, together with their past financials, suggest to me that shares were very cheap.
Just a tourist here. If anybody is familiar with the company I'd love to hear it. Undoubtedly it's a total shit show but I bought a handful of shares just for fun.
$CPIX seems, like $CVV a while ago, another stock that is being pumped, crazy volume and volatility today, but it actually seems ... reasonably priced? Sold a subsidiary for 100m, diluted mcap 70m. I'm sure it's a shitco but it's priced at liquidation value despite the pumping.
@jefke00 Thanks for your thoughts. "Today's news decreases the value in "no deal", but increases chances of a deal.". That's also my thought but I'd say the stock should be flat/up on that? I don't know, maybe Sutton is some sort of super star ..
$RYAM: large shareholder lobbed in an unsolicited $11 - $12 bid a week ago. Today the CEO resigns and the company hired Morgan Stanley to look at strategic alternatives but shares are down on massive volume? Why? I'm probably missing something, just don't know what.
@JuniorMintMed1 I have not received anything nor heard anything from the liquidators. A second distribution will probably be announced on their website.
$ACHL with a an initial distribution. Larger than I expected and also nice to see the ADS fee "only" is $0.025 for this distribution (my assumption was $0.05).
Wrote a little something about $HOOK, yet another biotech liquidation. Looks attractive to me. Check it out here: https://t.co/M9AB2ZaA7v , feel free to point out any glaring errors!
@MicrocapStalker proceeds for their scrap assets. So now that they sold their HB-400 program for $5m I think it is likely we're gravitating towards the middle or upper end of the range (as always, make your own assumptions).
$maps fascinating price action. No firm opinion, but seems strange that a company with $60m in cash that was worth ~$120m yesterday is now worth ~$70m because it is going to delist from the NASDAQ. Delistings often present interesting opportunities.
@Uzocapital That's what all these companies that voluntarily delist do. Otherwise they'd still have the regulatory burden of being listed but not the upside of being actually listed. And yeah, it's always a bit scary but most of these companies continue sharing financials with shareholders.
@TiehackCapital Probably all connected. My guess: the founders wanted to delist and switch auditor to save costs / avoid cannabis regulatory hassles, effectively going dark. Board member resigns because this wasn't his idea of good corporate governance.
